Scottish Beltane Festival

Here in Scotland, around May Day, we celebrate the Celtic festival of Beltane. This marks the start of summer, and we honour it as a sacred time of fire, fertility and protection.

A time when the dawn chorus wakes us early. Long hours of daylight increase rapidly, and Nature puts on its finery. Why not create your own Beltane ritual with your friends and family in Nature?

Here are a few suggestions to fire your imagination:

* Light a fire – inside or outside, a simple candle lighting or beach fire. Read into the fire that you wish to release.

 • Spend time in Nature – connect with the flowers, trees and expansive light at this time by drawing or writing.

 • Deepen your connection with Nature – Observe, meditate, rest outside. Read and just be. Hug a tree!

 • Take essences outside – into your garden or local environment, visiting sacred sites, springs and wells, rivers and lakes. Invite others to join you!

 • Create positive space – bring essences into your home or workplace, create an alter for them to be on view, adding their energy to your space at this special time.

 • Rise early and use essences – for your practice, nature walking at sunrise, when listening to a guided meditation.

Now is the time to welcome in the abundance of light on all levels, and the three essences we recommend to support you with this are;

🌸 light being 🌼clear light 🌺fire element

For a dual-action, why not spray your auric energy field and home with our 🪷 sacred light 🪷 aromatherapy room mist made from Blue Lotus oil.
